Even though fans are still praying to hear a new solo album, as well as another OutKast project, Andre 3000 is moving back to the big screen for a new film. The OutKast member is joining the cast of High Life, a sci-fi flick with a cast of international favorites.

According to Variety, Three Stacks is signing on to join the likes of Robert Pattinson, Mia Goth, Juliette Binoche, Lars Eidinger, Agata Buzek, Ewan Mitchell, Jessie Ross and Claire Tran. The movie is reportedly being directed by Claire Denis, which will be her first English-language feature film debut.

The movie centers on convicts who reduce their time behind bars to go on a dangerous mission to a black hole. The rapper's character has not been revealed at this time.

Andrew Lauren Productions will be financing the film, and will be partnering with Alcatraz Films (Paris), Pandora Film Produktion (Cologne), The Apocalypse Films (London) and Madants (Warsaw) to produce it.

This is far from the first time that Andre 3000 has added another movie to his acting portfolio, as he has previously starred in Idlewild with Big Boi back in 2006, and Four Brothers with Tyrese, Garrett Hedlund and Mark Wahlberg in 2005. He also most recently played the role of Jimi Hendrix in All By My Side in 2014.

Look out for a release date for High Life soon.
