All month long, Scarface and DJ Quik have been on the road on a tour dubbed the Live Experience. With the show wrapping up on Aug. 23, Quik recently announced that fans will be hearing more from the golden era MCs in the form of a new EP.

The Cali OG recently chopped it up with HipHopDX, where he made the revelation. “Scarface and I, we working on an EP actually," he said. "We’re actually recording every show that we do into Protools all stemmed out. We’re going to listen back to it after the tour is done and in the interim, we’re writing lyrics and music on the bus. It just makes sense to make an EP. Not just to sell and have a record out, but to make this whole experience and give it to people to feel a vibe.”

Quik also has a project in the works with Kurupt titled BlaqKout. The Compton musician has been busy these days. Earlier this year, he collabed with Problem on the EP, Rosecrans.

News of the Scarface collab comes on the heels of news that Face Mob is also working on a solo project. In late July, the Houston legend posted a video on Instagram where he teased the new project. “So I’m in the studio, and the fucked up part about me being in the studio is, I’m in the studio with this nigga,” Scarface says in the video referring to N.O. Joe. “And the fucked up part about me being in the studio with that nigga means somebody’s in trouble.”
