After dropping one of the illest, most slept-on projects of 2016 with You.Know.I.Got.It (The Album)Berkely, Calif. rapper Koran Streets returns from hiatus with a brand new song and video. Watch the visual for "Slick Rick," directed by Luis Montoya and Streets himself, below.

Streets gets right to it on the track, kicking down the door with his opening bars: "Spread my message to the masses/Fuck these crackers, I ain't forget my people captured."

"I wanted to go with something simplistic, but artistic, displaying artwork around the city of Oakland that matches the pain and struggle I speak on in the song," Streets tells XXL. The video also shows artist Rory Bonnin painting what becomes the cover for the deluxe edition of You.Know.I.Got.It (The Album), slated to drop via EMPIRE later this month. "Slick Rick" won't be featured on the LP, however.

Peep the crazy new track from Koran, produced by Roca Beats, below and get up on his other songs like "Mama House," "Know It," and "Ima Thug" if you've been sleeping.
