Seven years removed from the release of his last album (More Than Just a DJ), the legendary DJ Kay Slay is gearing up to drop The Big Brother, a new project featuring some of the most talented lyricists hip-hop has to offer. Today (Aug. 25), he unveils a visual for "Wild Ones," the first single from the project.

The "Wild Ones" video finds Kay Slay either hanging out with Rozay, Tity Boi or Meet Sims as the anthemic track plays. At some points, the famed DJ is sitting on a couch with Ross as the two prepare to sip some Bel-Air. At others, he's posted up with Chainz in the studio. It's straightforward and raw, just like the Kay Slay releases that catapulted the DJ—and probably the career of plenty of other rappers—years ago.

“The 'Wild Ones' video was directed by Money Mark & Benji Filmz and it's not about portraying the 'glamorous lifestyle' you see every day in most videos. I just wanted to catch everyone in their comfort zone and ensure their vocals are clearly getting across to the listeners,” the famed DJ tells XXL of the video, which clips off the track's original verse from the incarcerated Kevin Gates.

While Rozay and Chainz are definitely two rappers near the top of the hip-hop power structure, Kay Slay didn't choose them simply because they're popular; he's more interested in their ability to straight up rap.

“These are three artists that I have built a relationship with since the very beginning of their respective careers and I know they can deliver on a track lyrically as opposed to the simple Simon flows that are trending today," the "Business Never Personal" artist says.

Originally scheduled for an Aug. 8 release, fans can now expect The Big Brother to drop on Sept. 22. The tracklist is about as star-studded and diverse as it gets, featuring guest appearances from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Tech9Ne, The Game, Dave East, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Scarface, Jadakiss, Juicy J, Jay Rock, French Montana, Ice-T, Nipsey Hussle, Beanie Sigel, Freeway, E-40 in addition to 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Kevin Gates and Meet Sims.
