Chicago rapper CupcakKe has made a habit of helping those in need, and that's a trend she's continued in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, a devastating storm that's ravaged Houston and the rest of southeastern Texas.

On Tuesday (Aug. 29), one Twitter user uploaded a screenshot of a GoFundMe page for the funeral funds of a family of six lost in the hurricane. The goal was $10,000, and CupcakKe, whose born name is Elizabeth Harris, made a contribution of $2,300, bringing the total raised for the funeral to $10,500.

CupcakKe becomes just the latest rapper to act heroically in the aftermath of the disastrous hurricane. Nicki Minaj donated $25,000 to help those affected by the storm, while Drake and his longtime friend Future The Prince worked with local Houston relief groups to assist those in need of medical aid.

"I also want to thank all the men and women of service and volunteers for their courageous efforts to help people in need. I encourage everyone to do what they can to assist the people of Texas knowing whatever effort you can make to help will go a long, way," wrote Drizzy towards the end of his caption revealing his effort to help.

Houston rapper Trae Tha Truth even hopped in a boat to help survivors of the hurricane and locals looking to do the same.
