Cardi B may just be having the best year ever. If having her hit "Bodak Yellow" reach the No. 3 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week wasn't enough, on Sunday (Aug. 27), she's set to perform the mega hit during her first-ever appearance at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards.

On Tuesday, MTV revealed the Bronx spitter is scheduled to take the stage live at the VMA pre-show this Sunday at 7 p.m. EST. Cardi's fans have already proven to know her bars word for word, and with her having just released the Spanish version, it's safe to say this isn't the last performance of "Bodak Yellow" we'll see this year.

Cardi B's first major label single has garnered the attention of many since its debut in June. Most recently, the "Lick" rapper appeared on The Wendy Williams Show to showcase her vivacious, bossy rap style, and was invited on stage by Migos during their Veld Fest set in Toronto. 21 Savage even brought her out at a recent show.

Khalid and Bleachers will also join Cardi on the red carpet stage to perform their infectious singles "Location" and "Don't Take the Money," respectively.

2016 XXL Freshman Lil Yachty was selected to host the pre-show event alongside Terrence J, Gaby Wilson and Charlamagne Tha God. Lil Boat is also nominated for three awards for his collaborations with D.R.A.M. and fellow Freshman alum KYLE; "Broccoli" is nominated for both Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Collaboration, while “iSpy” is up for Best Visual Effects.

Stay tuned for VMA event coverage from XXL Sunday night.
