Vic has confirmed his new album The Autobiography drops July 28.

Original Story:

The anticipation around Vic Mensa's album is running higher every day, and it looks like we're finally getting closer to it seeing the light of day. While we've gotten impressions of what the project will sound like, as well as some of the guest features that are set to be included, fans have an opportunity to hear the album in full this weekend.

Both Vic Mensa and Roc Nation have been posting locations of particular book stores, where they say fans can go, post a photo with the hashtag #vicmensa, and possibly catch the "U Mad" rapper to hear his new album if they do it fast enough.

"Go to Volumes Bookcafe & Bucket O'Blood and take a 📷 & post with #vicmensa. If you're fast enough i'll play u my debut album this weekend," Mensa wrote on both Instagram and Twitter.

We're still unsure of when Vic's new album will be dropping, but based on a fan photo taken outside one of the book store locations, it looks like it could drop on July 28. The fan found a cardboard cutout of the Roc Nation signee on a window, with "The Autobiography As Told By Vic Mensa Based on a True Story," which could potentially be the project title, and the date written on the window.

Last month, the Chicago rapper dropped The Manuscript EP, which contained four songs that were unique to each other, which had features from Pusha T, Pharrell, and Mr. Hudson.
