Travis Scott is mourning the loss of his longtime bodyguard, Big Tony, who apparently recently passed away.

Scott shared the tragic news on social media by posting a series of black and white pictures of Tony on Instagram. "U gon be my guardian angel for life bro. I love u mannnnnnnnnnnnn I want u to know that. We all do broooooooooooooooooooooooooo I'm hurt Rest In Peace To my dawg big Tony," he captioned one photo of them walking together.

"We wouldn't mob with out your lead. Rip my dawg," La Flame captioned another picture. Trav did not reveal the cause of the untimely death and is still clearly in shock over the loss.

This is a sour moment for Travis who has been enjoying a great year. May 22 will go down as a day to remember as both of his albums, Rodeo and Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, reached platinum status, according to RIAA records. The BITTSM single, “Pick Up the Phone,” featuring Quavo and Young Thug also earned a plaque for going double platinum the same day.

Things only look to get bigger as he has two projects slated to drop before the year is over including the solo album, AstroWorld, and the highly-anticipated collab record with Quavo.

Travis was recently announced as the headliner for the 2017 Day N Night Festival along with Chance The Rapper and Kendrick Lamar.

R.I.P. Big Tony.
