Seven months after being announced, Nav and Metro Boomin's joint album, titled Perfect Timing, now has a release date. Well, sort of. Today (July 6), Nav used his Instagram account to reveal that the project's coming at some point this month.

"Perfect Timing this month ✅⏱," Nav wrote in a caption of a post that included an image of himself and Metro Boomin. Needless to say, this is all very, very good news for fans of Nav and Young Metro.

Nav is coming off dropping a dope debut mixtape and is all set to travel with The Weeknd on phase two of his Starboy: Legend of the Fall tour. He's glowing up, and by the time he embarks on the trek with Abel, Nav will be able to perform plenty of new material from Perfect Timing. Dope.

Then there's Metro, the man who, over the last couple of years, has made some of the coldest beats in hip-hop. He'd been a problem for a while, but over the last 12 months or so, he's taken things to another level. Just the other week, he dropped his new single "No Complaints" with Drake and Offset. He also launched his Boominati Worldwide label via Republic and is set to release his debut album later this year.

Last summer, Metro worked alongside the ascendant 21 Savage on his breakout project Savage Mode, producing hit singles like "X" and "No Heart." About six weeks ago, he and Gucci Mane released Drop Top Wop, which features more than a few amazing instrumentals. It's clear we've got a lot to look forward to.
