Lil Wayne fans have waiting impatiently at the edges of their seats for a new full project from the hip-hop superstar, and it looks like we're getting steps closer to getting one. While there's still no release date in sight for the veteran rapper's delayed Carter V album, fans can look forward to getting the 6th volume in his Dedication mixtape series.

DJ Drama, who has been hosting Weezy's Dedication tapes over the years, recently teased the next project on Snapchat by posting a hint that it would be coming soon. He already confirmed last year that the project was "on the way." The photo in his Snapchat story showed a sign that read "D6," where he wrote a caption that alluded to the upcoming release of Dedication 6 in the near future.

"New Orleans. It was only right!!!! Soon.....," Drama wrote in the Snapchat post.

As of now, there's no official release date known for Dedication 6, but fans can look forward to knowing that it is on its way sometime soon. The hip-hop community is also anticipating the rest of Weezy's "Magnolia" freestyle, which we've only heard a preview of this week. There's no word on when we could receive the full version, but many fans are betting that it could be included on this upcoming mixtape.

A few months back, Wayne told fans that The Carter V is "coming soon," as it has been anticipated for over two years now, but didn't give an exact time frame of when we could expect it.
