It seems like A$AP Ferg has been pretty quiet on the music front. Besides dropping a new track named "Tango" in late June and appearing on recent releases from Marty Baller and Tory Lanez, the Trap Lord has kept fans waiting for a new release. Now, Ferg has announced on Instagram that his new mixtape Still Striving will be dropping on Aug. 18.

The announcement came via an Instagram post from Ferg's official account where he also let the world know he'd just watched a movie featuring Pro Era member, Kirk Night. The picture shows Ferg and eight other people sitting on a wide bench inside of a theater. "Me and my Pros!!! Last night @kirkknight had a private screening for "Patticake$" a new movie he's in !! Lil bro getting is acting on proud of you. Movie drops same day as my mixtapes #stillstriving August 18th," the post reads.

The Hood Pope announced Still Striving last July, less than three months after his second album, Always Strive and Prosper, came out. He went on Snapchat and spoke to the camera in a brief black-and-white clip. "Oh by the way, I'm dropping a new project very soon. It's going to be called Still Striving. Look out for it," he says. In October, he posted two pictures to Instagram showing himself in the studio with Alchemist. "Dreams do come true," was the caption under one picture. "Album time," was the caption of the other.

Ferg recently spoke out on the sexual assault allegations that fellow group member, A$AP Bari, currently faces. “It’s a touchy story. It’s unfortunate, and I’d rather leave it like that…I feel bad about it, but it’s unfortunate," he says.

Always Strive and Prosper debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 in its first week of sales, moving 35,000 units. Now, it's time to prepare yourself for Still Striving.
