Fresh off being named a member of XXL's 2017 Freshman class, Playboi Carti pops up on Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform "Magnolia," a Pierre Bourne-produced track that's gotten him more attention than ever before. Peep the performance below.

"Magnolia" is as much a wave of confident energy as it is a hit single, so it's no wonder it works so well whenever Carti performs it. Bouncing across the stage, Carti looks totally at home as the beat—which is infused with a bit of live instrumentation—is played in the background. All together, it's another entry into Carti's cache of dope performances.

"Magnolia," which belongs to Carti's self-titled debut mixtape released this past spring, has been everywhere as of late. Recently, the track was used in a new Sprint commercial. Before that, ESPN’s Highly Questionable personality Papi Le Batard rapped lyrics from the song on the show. Most recently, JAY-Z even gave the track a shout out during a series of tweets thanking everyone who's inspired him over the years.

"I promise I'm not drunk . Lord Pusha . Carti (Magnolia incredible)ASAP Sean P , Mobb , cudi . Tyler , earl, Snoop!!( almost played myself)," JAY wrote in one tweet, putting Carti in the company of other inspirational rap stars.

Carti's now buzzing more than ever, and he'll look to continue building that momentum with his first ever national tour as a headliner with Young Nudy and Pierre Bourne beginning this Thursday (June 22). Should be dope.
