Jay Electronica Appears to Upload Remastered Songs Onto Random YouTube Account

Jay Electronica is one of the most curious cases in hip-hop. He dropped his debut project, Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge), 10 years ago. He teased us with a classic hip-hop track ("Exhibit C") and left us fiending for more. But since then, records have been few and far between. The New Orleans rapper ads to his lore, after a mysterious YouTube page popped up on the video viewing site which is full of remastered Jay Elect songs.

The page is titled The Science of Everything in Life. It contains 28 Electronica tracks ranging from older joints like "Exhibit A" to collabs like Mac Miller's "Suplexes Inside of Complexes and Duplexes."

It isn't exactly clear whether Electronica started the account. A bio on the page gives little info into the creator, but offers this insight: "For nearly 76 Trillion years this channel has given faithful service to the Young in Heart; and Time has been powerless to put its kindly philosophy out of fashion. To those of you who have been faithful to it in return ... and to the Young in Heart ... we dedicate this channel. Best Regards and Well Wishes, Yours Truly. 🌹"

Electronica has been signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation label since 2010. In February, Hov urged Elect to finally put out his project during a Super Bowl party in New Orleans. But it sounds like Electronica is only going to move when he is ready. “As far as an album, I would like to put out an album myself," he said during an interview with Billboard. "Nobody in the world wants a Jay Electronica album out more than I do. I release music in my own time… things evolve… over the trajectory of your life… you can’t put a stopwatch on that.”
