Today, June 18, marks the birthday of Migos' Takeoff, who now turns 24.

Takeoff, born Kirshnik Khari Ball, first made a name for himself in the Atlanta hip-hop scene with Migos after dropping "Versace," their lead hit off the 2013 mixtape Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas). Their celebrity continued to grow after the track was remixed by Drake, ultimately leading them to drop Yung Rich Nation, Migos' debut album in 2015, under popular label Quality Control Music.

Migos' biggest victory to date is undoubtedly Culture, their second studio album, which included the group's first Billboard No. 1, "Bad and Boujee," with Lil Uzi Vert. The gang's efforts even got them invited to the 2017 Met Gala, where they were able to perform the hit in front of their fellow well-dressed celebrity colleagues. Takeoff, along with Quavo and Offset, is currently on tour promoting the project along with Future, A$AP Ferg, Tory Lanez and Young Thug.

Most recently, Takeoff released his first solo song outside of the group. With all three of the Migos taking off in different directions though remaining a solid team, rumors have started circulating that they could go their separate ways. OG Parker, a beatmaker for Quality Control, who produced the solo records from each member of Migos, told XXL the clique have no plans to separate. Obviously, that's a good thing for fans and Migos, whose Culture II album went platinum in May 2018. Takeoff continues to be a big reason for the group's success, and now, it's time everyone salutes his grind.

Happy Birthday, Takeoff!
