Drake Performs “Jumpman,” “Fake Love” and More at 2017 EDC in Las Vegas
While waiting for artists to hit the stage at a live show, fans often speculate if the acts will bring out any special guests. For those who were anxiously awaiting Metro Boomin's set at EDC this year in Las Vegas, Metro had a surprise appearance planned for none other than Drake.
In a few Twitter videos below, you can catch Drake hit the stage to perform the Metro-produced song "Jumpman" from his joint project with Future What a Time to Be Alive. The crowd takes a second to realize who is on stage but then immediately starts rocking with Drake once they do. He stayed on stage to also perform "Pop Style," "Gyalchester" and "Fake Love."
Drake also posted a few pictures from the night to his Instagram, including one of a funny fan-made sign and one saying Metro took him "to space for a night." The crossover between hip-hop and EDM continues to strengthen as Rae Sremmurd also appeared during Afrojack's set and Lil Jon performed during Flosstradamus' set at EDC.
This year would have been a perfect time for Diplo and Drake to perform their unreleased song at EDC, seeing that both were on the festival grounds, but fans of both artists will have to continue to wait.
Drake also made a surprise appearance on Future's Nobody Safe Tour while in Los Angeles this weekend. His label OVO has also been hard at work, signing the new artist Plaza and releasing his project Shadow.
