Recently the legendary Redman offered up a tantalizing preview of a track from his once again forthcoming Muddy Waters 2 project. Now, we might have just heard a clip of another one, this teaser coming courtesy of the one and only 9th Wonder.

In an Instagram video captioned with Redman's name on the social media app, we hear stuttering horns and intermittent vocal samples as we see 9th's hand hover a midi controller of some sort. It's a somewhat rare look at a master at work, and it definitely fulfills that description.

Now, the question is, is the instrumental we hear 9th putting together supposed to be for Muddy Waters 2? Neither 9th nor Redman have said anything indicating that—but maybe they don't even have to. Somethings are better left unsaid, and if a picture is worth a thousand words, then 9th's Instagram video might be worth 100 times more. We'll have to wait and see how this pans out, but we hope 9th works with Redman on the project.

The long-rumored  Muddy Waters 2 is the follow up to Redman's 1996 classic, Muddy Waters. The album was a concentrated dose of the N.J. lyricist rapping his ass off. The preview he uploaded to Instagram just the other day showed us that his skills are still very much intact. In other words, the project should be dope, whenever it comes out.

In any case, check out what 9th's apparently got cooking for Redman in the video below.
