It's been a little over a week since Young Thug announced his singing album, titled E.B.B.T.G. (Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls) was on the way, and there's still no sign of the project. But fear not, Thugger hasn't forgotten his eager fans, and late last night (May 3) he used his Instagram account to serve up a preview of music from the album.

In a video captioned simply, "E.B.B.T.G's," Thugger can be seen vibing out to his own music, which sounds incredibly wavy. He's definitely doing what could be described as singing, but honestly, his approach with his vocals hardly sounds different from the stuff he did for Jeffery—and there's nothing wrong with that.

The fact is, in a way that's uniquely his own, Thugger is probably one of the music world's more dynamic vocalists, with an elastic, high-pitched sound that slides in perfectly with everything from trap to reggae to R&B to probably even EDM. He could probably even do country. Call his music what you want, but Thugger's just nice.

What's even more interesting is it sounds like Rich Homie Quan is featured on the beginning of the track. The last time we heard from them together was on the incredible Rich Gang: Tha Tour Pt. 1 mixtape in 2014. They had some sort of falling out after that, and we never exactly found out why, but judging by the above clip, it looks like they might have buried the axe.

As we mentioned before, Thug first mentioned his singing project a little over a week ago in a series of tweets. “Singing album this week,” Thugger wrote on Twitter last Wednesday (April 26). “E.B.B.T.G. EASY BREEZY BEAUTIFUL THUGGER GIRLS. @Drake will be EP’n my singing album.”

Drake hasn't commented on his rumored executive-producer role on the project, but if his record-breaking hands have anything to do with it, you already know it will be as dope as possible. We'll have to wait and see. For now, you can check out Thugger's preview for yourself below.
