A few weeks back, Young Thug announced he would be releasing his new singing album, E.B.B.T.G. (Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls), earlier this month, but unfortunately we've yet to hear the new project. While fans are a bit disappointed he hasn't fulfilled his word on delivering the new album, we are finally getting an update on what's happening with the project.

The "Pick Up The Phone" rapper's engineer Alex Tumay recently answered questions from fans on Twitter, where he responded to one fan who asked about the legitimacy of the new album. Tweeting at the engineer, the fan originally posed the topic, stating they're "assuming EBBTG was a joke."

"Far from it. Working non stop on getting the project y'all deserve," wrote Tumay back to the user.

In a new Genius interview, Tumay also talks about Thug recently spitting a 24-bar verse where he “sounded like Kendrick [Lamar].” Tumay says the project is dedicated to Thug's fiancée, Jerrika Karlae, and they've recorded and scrapped "dozens" of songs for it already.

While fans are a bit frustrated that the project hasn't been released yet, it would make sense there are some delays in the project. For one, this is supposed to be Thugger's first all-singing album, which we're sure is a different kind of process for the Southern hitmaker, but he's also seen delays on projects in the past, as he did with his Jeffery tape.

Hopefully fans can get a taste of what's to come off of Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls in the coming weeks, similarly to what he previewed recently on Instagram, but for now, we'll have to sit patiently until the Thugger delivers.
