The stars are out at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for the 2017 Met Gala. Pharrell is among the hosts for this year's festivities along with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, model Gisele Bündchen and singer Katy Perry.

The 2017 Met Gala's exhibition is Rei Kawakubo's Comme des Garcons: Art Of The In-Between. The 74-year-old Japanese designer is only the second living designer to be given a solo show at the Met. Guests were encouraged to think avant-garde for the lavish party, so plenty of interesting outfits are being worn.

The invitation-only event is no cheap ticket. $30,000 gets the lucky celebrities into the 2017 Met Gala, and tables will set one back $275,000. The party is a major money earner, as last year's Met Gala raised approximately $13.5 million, according to the New York Times.

600 people attended the 2016 Met Gala, but this year's festivities are expected to have a smaller attendance. A spokesperson for the museum said they want a more "intimate" atmosphere.

Hip-hop is heavily represented at the Met Gala with plenty of artists enjoying the "Party of the Year." Future, Diddy, Wiz Khalifa, Jaden Smith, Nicki Minaj, Lil Yachty, Migos and The Weeknd are among the stars out at the Met.

Tons of photographers are at the museum to grab shots of the stars, so fans can see what all of the celebs are wearing. Check out all of the hip-hop attendees at the 2017 Met Gala in the above gallery.
