Drake's performance at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards is setting up to be must-see TV. But the bigger spectacle might be the amount of trophies Drizzy is set to bring home.

The award show has already announced on Instagram the Canadian rap star has won 10 of the 22 awards he was nominated for including Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Album, Top Rap Tour, Top R&B Song, Top R&B Collaboration, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Streaming Song (Audio), Top Song Sales Artist and Top Streaming Songs Artist.

Drake was up against some stiff competition. In earning the Top Rap Artist award, he beat out the likes of J. Cole and Future. He fended off Beyonce, Prince and The Weeknd for the Top Billboard 200 Artist title. Bruno Mars and Rihanna fell to the OVO rapper in the category of Top R&B song. There's a chance he could win even more awards.

"Drake leads with the most wins heading into tonight's show!," the announcement is captioned. "Just 3 more wins to break all-time #BBMAs record for most awards in one year."

On top of the big night wins wise, Drizzy is set to put on a big performance for the award show. “You know, Drake does not perform on television very often so I think whenever he does it’s a real event,” Mark Bracco, executive vice president of programming and development told Billboard. “We built a real terrific relationship with his team, working creatively with them and coming up with a big idea, and I think it’s gonna be a very, very big moment in the show. It’s not a surprise necessarily but it’s gonna be a moment that people aren’t exactly expecting…. It’ll be memorable, I promise you that.”

It was recently leaked that Aubrey will be performing at the famed Bellagio Fountain at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas. Footage has surface of the 6 God rehearsing the More Life track, "Gyalchester,” while standing on a platform in the water with pyrotechnics popping off around him.

Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and others are also set to perform in tonight's show. The 2017 Billboard Music Awards will air live tonight (May 21) at 8 p.m.
