Recently, Baton Rouge, La. rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again was released from the East Baton Rouge jail after being locked up last December for two charges of attempted first-degree murder.

Shortly after his release, fellow BR rap star Boosie BadAzz, who's got his own troubled past with law enforcement, offered the ascendant NBA some advice via Instagram. The words of wisdom? Get out of his hometown immediately.

"Welcome home @nba_youngboy 💯💯💯💯💯leave Br asap 👌," Boosie wrote in a post that included an image of YoungBoy.

While Boosie's bit of wisdom may seem vague and possibly random, if you know Boosie's history with jail and his reputation on the streets of Baton Rouge, it really isn't. Last year, Boosie offered up his own reasons for leaving his home state of Louisiana behind. It had a lot to do with his belief the justice system was out to get him.  "Well like, my past is too strong out there. You gotta understand that I had a big problem with the court system—district attorneys, prosecutors," Boosie explained in an interview with DJ Vlad.

He continued, "A lot of people were trying to take my life as far as, you know, in the court system. And I was childish, man. I made songs about public officials and things like that. Those people don't forget that and I don't trust people like that. It's nothing for me to just be riding down the street and they just stop and throw a gun in my car."

Boosie went on to say he also had to be wary of people less fortunate than he is becoming jealous of his success and trying to take him out. In any case, you can check out Boosie's Instagram post directed at YoungBoy below. See Boosie explain why, exactly, he left his home state in the video below that.
