BeatKing Refuses to Be a “Sponsor” on New TM88-Produced Song
Strip clubs are littered with folks willing to give strippers all the money they want, but Houston's BeatKing isn't one of them. That's a point the rapper makes on "Sponsor," a new TM88-produced banger that finds him detailing the exploits of prolific strippers.
On the song, BeatKing speaks on a stripper being a "boss bitch" who has no qualms about having a sugar daddy cop her whatever she wants, knowing all the while she'll never give him true intimacy.
"He gon' pay her bills / He gonna throw her cake / She put that she you bought her on Snapchat but don’t show your face," he spits on the song, which doesn't represent the first time he's collabed with TM88.
Elsewhere on the track, BeatKing speaks on how the typical Houston stripper will have about "three sponsors" supporting him at any given moment. BeatKing on the other hand refuses to fit into that trend, rapping, "Niggas buy her gifts / I don't buy her shit." Looks like he's laid down the law.
Featuring a slightly ominous sounding TM88 instrumental, "Sponsor" is all set to appear on BeatKing's forthcoming Astroworld 2 project, which is due out on May 24.
