Update (April 25, 6:54 p.m. EST):

Nordstrom sent XXL the following statement about this incident: "We don’t tolerate discrimination of any kind and have reached out to this customer to learn more about his experience in our store. We hope to hear back from him soon."

Original Story:

Mike WiLL Made-It might be a superstar producer, and certainly has a lot of coins, but that didn't prevent him from allegedly having a racist experience at a Nordstrom store. The "Humble" hitmaker took to Twitter to blast the fancy department store's Santa Monica chain, to which he accused them of being racist.

Made-It hopped on social media and wrote, "Yo @Nordstrom 's Santa Monica is racist af!" While we're not quite sure what may have occurred to provoke the producer, it's clear that he isn't too happy with the company's treatment of customers at that particular store. In response to his tweets, the company responded over Twitter by asking, "We'd like to check into this, Mike. Will you please send us more info via DM?" We haven't seen the hip-hop producer provide any more information, but there is a chance that he aired out his grievances over direct messages as they requested.

This isn't the first time a rapper has publicly accused a company of being racist over social media. Drake recently took to Instagram to expose The Madison Club of racial profiling, where he stayed during weekend one of the 2017 Coachella Music Festival. He said that it was "the most offensive place I have ever stayed in my life" and claimed that the staff "pick and choose who they are going to accommodate based on racial profiling."

XXL has reached out to Nordstrom for comment, but has not heard back at this time. See the original tweet exchange between Mike WiLL Made-It and Nordstrom below.
