The 2017 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer and now the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th spot voting is happening now, so each of the potential Freshman are letting you know why they should appear on the 2017 XXL Freshman cover.

Hailing from South Central, Los Angeles is the multi-talented Duckwrth, who looks to become one of the West Coast acts to grace the 2017 XXL Freshman cover. Known mostly for his rapping and singing abilities, Duckwrth is also a highly skilled graphic designer with a creative vision like no other. Songs like “Get Uugly” and “LOWRIDER" prove he's got power on the mic. Duckwrth released his album I’m Uugly last year. In 2017, Duckwrth looks to keep expanding his musical catalog while also releasing eye-catching music videos that match his eccentric personality and flair.
