The weekend is upon us and that means it's time to look back at the best songs released over the past seven days. XXL has picked out four songs that will enhance the playlist for any of your weekend activities.

Nef The Pharaoh secured a spot in this week’s selections with his new song “Move4” featuring OMB Peezy and Jay Ant. The track appears on the Bay Area rapper’s new tape The Chang Project, which serves as a prelude to his upcoming album, Big Chang Theory.

The Gorillaz made their much anticipated return by dropping the Humanz album today (April 28). The band’s projects always have some dope hip-hop collaborations, and their latest effort is no different. The Danny Brown-assisted “Submission” stood out to us due to the Detroit MC’s reflective verse.

“Wish I could think of better ways/Cause I lost my patience yesterday/If you could see inside of me/There'd be no heart on my X-ray/Opponents tryna checkmate/But I don't see no escape/Just tryna keep my head straight/On thin ice with the ice skates/At times, I feel like giving up/Cause it feels like I've had enough/Felt like my soul in handcuffs/Got questions with no answers/Can't help me out, I need a friend/I'm losing faith in this world of sin/Tryna make ends meet with a week, no sleep/It's like a cycle that never ends,” Brown raps.

Wale unleashed his SHINE album to the world on Friday, but it was a track that didn’t make the cut that caught our attention. “Shine Season” displays an edge from Wale as he takes aim at everyone from Tomi Lahren to fake rappers.

“How you taking Xannies try operate a weapon/What the fuck is up/Niggas looking real sus/Ask him where’s his passport, he rap about the plug enough/I ain't trapping, I just know what's up/Label me that pro-black backpacker that bitches love," Wale raps.

Capping things off is A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg's new track "Wrong," produced by Harry Fraud. The melodic record is a little something for fans to enjoy while they wait for the A$AP Mob's Cozy Tapes Vol. 2.
