Young Dolph is completely downplaying his beef with fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti. The Gelato rapper spoke with HipHopDX recently (March 6) while at the L.A. release party for his latest mixtape and brushed off the beef, claiming it was all in the past.

"That's old news, you know what I'm sayin? It's old," mumbled Dolph behind a smirk and some green shades.

Dolph even stayed mum when it came to the incident of his SUV being shot up last month (Feb. 25) while the MC was in Charlotte, N.C. Dolph, as well as plenty of other hip-hop artists, was in town to perform for CIAA Weekend when someone took aim. According to WBTV, around 6:39 p.m. along 600 block of North Caldwell Street, another truck pulled up by the side of Dolph's vehicle and starting spraying the SUV with 100 bullets. Luckily, Dolph's car was made of bullet-proof metal and no one was injured in the ordeal.

"Who you talkin' about? I don't know what you talkin' about," shrugged Dolph when asked about the shooting.

The timeline between Dolph and Gotti's beef dates back more than a year but has been in the news lately because of repeated jabs Dolph took on wax at Gotti. In early February, Dolph dropped the blatant Gotti diss track "Play Wit Yo Bitch" as a lead single off his Gelato tape—and he didn't stop there. When Dolph dropped the video treatment for the track, he made fun of Gotti once again.
