WizKid, the co-writer and co-producer of Drake's hit single "One Dance," has signed a deal with RCA Records and Sony Music International. The Nigerian singer-songwriter will look to reach new heights and top the success of his 2014 track "Ojuelegba," which racked up 4.6 million streams on Spotify worldwide.

“We are thrilled to welcome WizKid to the RCA Records family," RCA Records Chairman and CEO Pete Edge said. "He has become a superstar in the African music scene and will be a game-changer in bringing African music to the world. We are extremely excited to have him as a part of RCA and are eager for the journey ahead."

RCA and Sony are hoping to put more focus on Africa's music scene through the work of WizKid. Adam Granite, the President of Sony Music International's Northern and Eastern Europe and Africa division, emphasized the importance of WizKid's signing in helping them achieve that goal.

"We couldn’t be more excited to welcome WizKid to the Sony Music family," Granite said. "This is an incredibly important signing as we look to make Africa a major source of repertoire for the world.  Wiz is a key ambassador for this movement and we look forward to helping him conquer the globe."

To celebrate WizKid's record deal, the Drake collaborator released a music video for his song "Sweet Love." The video sees him traveling around Africa to perform for adoring crowds. Check it out below.
