The 2017 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer and now the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting is happening now, so each of the potential Freshman are letting you know why they should appear on the 2017 XXL Freshman cover.

From Atlanta by way of Chicago is talented young rapper Warhol.ss. Inspired heavily by contemporary art, Warhol grew up admiring the artwork of the late Jean Michel Basquiat. The 19-year-old rhymer's name is inspired by the legendary American artist Andy Warhol. Warhol.ss made a huge splash online when his 2016 record "Speed Racer" became a fan-favorite on SoundCloud. Now, the record sits at more than 377,000 plays and counting on the popular streaming site. Most recently, he released the record “Jugg Mane” featuring Maxo Kream and the single “For Dat.” Warhol.ss looks to make an even bigger for himself this year by getting the 10th spot vote for the 2017 XXL Freshman cover.
