As we've noted before, hip-hop loves spelling words differently. But that doesn't mean the parents of these hip-hoppers like it. Travis Scott recently got called out by his mom dukes for purposely misspelling something on social media.

It started with La Flame hopping on Twitter to show off his hand tattoo. "I was once asked my fav place in America to find peace," he wrote. "Portland is the answer. Took a trip and found happynes."

After getting chided by fans about his misspelling of the word happiness, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper responded, "Y'all know the English vocabulary does not exist here."

Trav's mom had apparently been on his Twitter feed and noticed her son's purposeful mistake. "It's spelled happiness u know we raised you better than that," she texted the rapper, which he screen-grabbed and posted on Twitter. He rebutted her assertion by posting the cover to the 2006 film Pursuit of Happyness, which stylizes the word to fit Scott's liking. "But Mama," he captioned the cover.

In music-related news, Travis announced earlier this month that he will be headlining the Bird's Eye View Tour. Officially kicking off next month, the tour will run through April, May and June, hitting up 30 cities in the U.S. and abroad, including New York, Pittsburgh, Miami, Houston, Cleveland and Berlin, Germany. Peep the full list of tour dates here. Hopefully, Scott can stay upright.
