Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook Feels Like He Made It After Kendrick Lamar Mentioned Him on “The Heart Part 4”

World-famous NBA basketball player Russell Westbrook feels like he leveled up after being name-dropped on Kendrick Lamar's new song "The Heart Part 4."

K. Dot's new single features a line about the Oklahoma City Thunder's guard, where the TDE rapper spits, "Tables turned, lesson learned, my best look/You jumped sides on me, now you 'bout to meet Westbrook/Go celebrate with your team and let victory vouch you/Just know, the next game played I might slap the shit out you/Technical foul, I'm flagrant, I'm foul/They throwin' me out, you throw in the towel/Look at the crowd, they— (Nah, I don't like that)/Look at my smile, I'm smirkin.'"

The bars reference Westbrook's relationship with his former teammate, Kevin Durant, while also addressing K. Dot's problems with an unnamed MC.

Russell was recently asked about the song by reporters, and he seemed honored. "Yeah, K. Dot's my man. He's representing the West Coast so I love him," he responded. "I'm surprised. I'm happy. You know whenever you hear your name in a song, I feel like I made it. Especially from my man."

One person who is not happy about the track is whoever Lamar is dissing. The Compton rapper goes hard at someone with bars like, “My fans can’t wait for me to son your punk ass and crush your whole lil shit/I’ll Big Pun your punk ass, you a scared lil bitch,” spits K. Dot. “Tip-toeing around my name, nigga ya lame/And when I get at you, homie, don’t you tell me you was just playin.”

Fans seem to think he is talking about Big Sean, but Kendrick has yet to open up about the warning.
