Maxo Kream's Pitch for 2017 XXL Freshman

The 2017 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer and now the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting is happening now, so each of the potential Freshman are letting you know why they should appear on the 2017 XXL Freshman cover.

Maxo Kream has been known to be one of the hottest rising rappers out of Houston in quite some time now; his buzz is only getting bigger with time. Releasing his breakout project, Maxo 187, nearly four years ago, the rhymer has managed to stay afloat of rap's ever-changing climate while staying true to his sound and style. Working with the likes of Joey Bada$$, Father, Key!, Lamb$ and others, just to name a few, Maxo's storytelling skills have allowed for him to show a different side of his city. Looking to make 2017 his biggest year to date, Maxo is ready to takes things to the next level, and that's by hopefully gracing this year's XXL Freshman cover.
