After Rick Ross took some shots at Birdman, he hit his Instagram with a photo that got a response from Lil Wayne.

Idols Become Rivals” was released by Rick Ross and throughout the song, the Miami Boss takes multiple shots at Cash Money honcho Birdman. Rozay has made it clear in the past that he doesn't respect what's being done to Lil Wayne by Birdman and he feels it’s only right that he stands by his friend in his time of need.

Rick Ross posted a photo of Lil Wayne on his Instagram and in the photo, Weezy is rocking a Young Money hoodie. Weezy has denounced his involvement with Birdman and Cash Money and has been focusing on YM, the label and team he created back in the day.

“The Level of respect and Love that I have for WAYNE makes it hard to sit back and not speak on the situation,” Rick Ross says in his IG post. “The streets need you.Being a Boss means having the courage to say the things everybody thinking but scared to say.I can't wait for you to hear it.Midnight. #idolsbecomerivals.”

As a response, Weezy hit his Twitter to follow up on Ross' Instagram post and dished out some heartfelt words.

“dam big bro that msg hit me in the heart and put the motivation on automatik start,” says Wayne. “I needed that. 1 boss 2 another.”

While Birdman said Weezy's The Carter V is definitely coming this year, Ross has been moving heavy to promote his new project Rather You Than Me dropping tonight.
