Joey Bada$$ sat down with the Los Angeles Leakers to speak on his new album, his recent Tupac comments and much more.

Joey's new album All Amerikkkan Badass is dropping on April 7, and he's got a couple key features on there from rappers like J. Cole and ScHoolboy Q. In the video below around the 13:00 mark, Joey tells the story of how J.Cole called him to the studio and asked for his blessing before putting out his record "False Prophet." That session was how the Fayetteville rapper linked up for the feature for All Amerikkkan Badass.

"He sent me the record the day before his album dropped," Joey said. "I already knew off of the strength of that, he was going to come through with the verse. He was telling me for a minute like, 'Yo, you're the only person I got on my feature list. I got you, I'm gonna make it happen, just wait. I gotta finish my album and shit.' He literally sent the shit the day before his album came out."

Joey also clarified his recent comments on Tupac, saying, "'Pac is literally my biggest influence when it comes to just being a person. People just took it the wrong way.”
