Born and raised in South Central, L.A., G Perico is quickly establishing himself as one of the newest stars rising out of the West Coast. Influenced by the gangsta rap sounds of the late 1980s and early 1990s, Perico’s style is a breath of fresh air in today’s trap-infused rap scene. Having released his highly buzzed-about project, Shit Don’t Stop, in 2016, which features the standout tracks “South Central” and “Neva Die,” the jheri curl-rocking rapper is the best-kept secret from L.A. Looking to continue pushing his gangsta ways, G Perico is in a lane all his own, looking to be the next young king out of the South Central streets. Check out his interview in XXL's The Break.
