Don Q has been labeled one of the best new rappers of today and he just proved it on Sway’s radio show.

The Highbridge artist has been blowing up. He's done countless features with some of the biggest artists in the game and now, Don Q just dropped his dopest freestyle to date. He swung by Sway in the Morning for a quick interview about working with artists who he looked up to such as Fabolous and the first time he met his favorite rapper Styles P. Afterwards, he set the mic on fire. Although the Bronx MC has only been in the game for a short while, his bars and street stories will remind you of a Fab, Pusha T, Jeezy, Meek Mill, Jadkiss, Styles P and others.

“How can I function in this state of mind that I’m stuck in/Bar for bar they know I'm the best, no discussion,” Don Q raps. “Ya’ll still tryna show off y'all work, I put enough in/I run through my verse like nothing without a punch in/Don’t cut me slack it’s the chubby mack in the trap where I'm comfy at/With a hundred pack by my musty sack.”

Don Q just released his highly anticipated mixtape Corner Stories which has features from A Boogie, Dave East, Zoey Dollaz, Styles P, Jadakiss, PnB Rock and Fab. He also set ablaze DJ Enuff's The Hot Box segment where he spit some fire over Jay Z's "Renegade" instrumental. The Bronx MC recently sat down with XXL for an interview where he spoke on the goals he would like to accomplish in the rap game but also other ventures he would like to dabble in.

“I just want to be the best. But I don’t want to rap for the rest of my life,” he says. “We’re trying to find other things within the next 10 years to be focused on—movies, clothing lines, liquor, all kind of things. I want to be the next Jay Z.”
