Fans hoping for a Waka Flocka and Gucci Mane reunion are out of luck. Waka made it clear that he has no desire to work with Gucci again in a new interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra. The "Hard in Da Paint" rapper also questioned Gucci's street cred and stated his intention to expose fakes in the rap game.

"Hey, since he been out, did he shoot a video in East Atlanta?" Waka asked around the five minute mark of the above video. "Since Gucci been out, did he shoot a video in East Atlanta? Alright. I'm exposing these folks. I ain't no hater, I'm just exposing. Atlanta got real big dogs, real kings of the east. East Atlanta got real kings. It ain't one person.

Waka's shot at Gucci followed a discussion about a new single he plans to drop on Wednesday (Feb. 8) called "Was My Dawg." The song will apparently address his fractured relationship with Gucci, who Waka says he has not been on good terms with since 2012.

"I ain't been real responsive," Waka said. "I don't want nobody to think I'm a hater or nothing. I ain't out here tryna hate on nobody, but the truth is the truth. Some stuff you gotta get off your chest or it's gonna make you like an angry person in the streets."

Gucci addressed the issues between the two last year, but was more diplomatic about the situation. Guwop told Funkmaster Flex that he and Waka were "done," but the veteran rapper wished his old protégé well.
