Post Malone’s ‘Stoney’ Album Goes Gold
Post Malone can cue up his Quavo-assisted track "Congratulations" as that's what's in order for the Dallas musician who can celebrate his debut album Stoney going gold. As posted by the RIAA, Post's album, which dropped in December, hit the milestone toward the tail end of last month, receiving official certification. Stoney's gold status comes after its single "Go Flex" was certified gold in early November while "White Iverson" was crowned triple-platinum around the same time.
Stoney capped off a year for Post that included touring the country and world on Justin Bieber's Purpose tour. The album features Bieber as well as a wide array of contributors including Kehlani, 2 Chainz and as mentioned above, Quavo. Not long after Stoney was released, Post revealed the title of his next project, writing on Twitter, "beerbongs and bentleys isn’t a song…. It’s a whole project. also a lifestyle and it’s coming.”
Fans can catch Post this May at the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami. The packed lineup as well includes Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Future, A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Mac Miller, Kevin Gates, Tyler The Creator, Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Lil Yachty, Joey Bada$$, Action Bronson, Flatbush Zombies, Curren$y, Amine, Denzel Curry, Playboi Carti, Chief Keef and more.
Big ups to Post on Stoney's milestone, the gold plaque matching his teeth and neck on "Go Flex."
