'Love & Hip Hop: New York' Season 7 Reunion Recap, Part 2

During the wild scuffle that occurred during the first half of the Love & Hip Hop: New York reunion last week, Samantha was attacked by a random audience member, and her explanation as to what spurred the incident doubles as a wild accusation.

Samantha says that Yandy knows the person involved in the attack because she's related to them, a charge which Yandy denies. Samantha also believes that Yandy sent Kimbella to her son's birthday party to cause a ruckus. She doesn’t buy Yandy’s story about being oblivious to Kimbella causing commotion at the door.

However, Love & Hip Hop: New York producers obtain audio of Yandy and Kimbella speaking prior to the birthday party. This puts Yandy in a bad light because she's caught in a lie -- she was aware of Kimbella already being at the party prior to pulling up herself. Although Yandy attempts to clarify the chain of events, it appears she's caught, which means Yandy may not have been as forthcoming about her knowledge of the situation. Yandy defends her decision as to why she did not officially marry Mendeecees by reiterating her role as the primary breadwinner. It's a move to secure her and Mendeecees' finances in case Samantha and Erika file for child support against him.

When it comes to Drewski, Bianca feels he was easy prey and that he obviously had no respect for Sky given the way he spoke about and treated her. Drewski, on the other hand, insists that his intentions were only to do business with Bianca and help her music career. According to him, he was never attempting to pursue her. When asked to give her two cents, Remy Ma feels Drewski’s behavior was inappropriate and that he wouldn’t have acted the same way had Sky been in the same room with him and Bianca. But a spin occurs when Drewski and Sky decide to make their relationship official. He gives Sky a pricey ring, signaling an engagement, to which Sky says yes. This makes for one of the more sentimental moments of the night.

The reunion takes a violent turn for the worse when Cardi B and Major Galore appear to have prior history with each other from their past as strippers. It quickly becomes clear that there’s bad blood between the two, which leads them to bicker back and forth until Cardi's sister Hennessy quickly stands up. She runs to attack Major Galore, with Cardi right behind her, before security intervenes. Backstage, Cardi explains that the root of their beef with Major Galore stems from her allegedly throwing shade at Cardi. This lead to the former friends falling out.

DJ Self announces that he and Cisco have repaired their relationship. They'll work together in Gwinnin Entertainment and expand their business relationship. Mariahlynn says she and Major Galore are cordial. As the two first ladies of the Gwinnin Team, they've officially put a nail in the coffin that was their ongoing feud.

In regards to his own relationship, Juelz Santana thinks Kimbella should have blind trust in him as a partner. The rapper says he’s done all he can to make her feel secure. Kimbella believes her issues with Juelz Santana can quickly get resolved and that their relationship is stronger than ever. As for Yandy and Kimbella's friendship, they explain that they only bicker with each other because they’re the best of friends and only want the best for each other.

When Peter Gunz is asked if he and Amina have still been having relations, he tries to skirt around the situation, but Amina reveals that they’ve continued to have sex with each other, a charge which Peter doesn’t deny. Although cast members like Cardi B and Juelz Santana give their opinion that Amina is only a placeholder in case things between Tara and Peter don’t work out, Amina says she’s in full control of the situation. According to her, she only has sex with Peter Gunz by her own choice, not to please him.

Amina reveals that she has written a book called The Other Woman. In the read, she includes a sexual encounter involving Peter that occurred prior to their wedding, which Tara has taken issue with. However, Peter Gunz takes ownership of his actions, but says he is a single man at the moment.

The season of Love & Hip Hop: New York ends with Rich Dollaz and Cisco throwing slights insults at each other, with the latter giving Rich the ultimatum of squashing their beef onstage or settling it with a fist fight at a later date. This is an offer Rich appears to accept, an implication that their war will continue during the next season. With a few loose ends and unresolved issues, the eighth edition of Love & Hip Hop: New York is sure to include plenty of fireworks, beef and an ample amount of shade.
