Update 2 (Feb. 27, 11:34 a.m. EST):

Future's manager Anthony Saleh has responded to rumors that there's a third album dropping this week, tweeting simply, "FALSE."

Update (Feb. 27, 9:51 a.m. EST):

A new description for the Thursday (March 2) episode of Ellen lists Future as a guest and reads, "He has the #1 album in the country this week with “Future,” and is attempting to have three #1 albums in a row in three weeks – which will make him the first in history to do that! He’s bringing it all to Ellen!" The plot thickens.

Original Story:

Atlanta superstar Future has dropped two albums, FUTURE and HNDRXXin as many weeks, but now there are new reports saying he's dropping a third album next Friday as well.

NPR wrote an article called "Predicting The Future: With 'HNDRXX,' Mixtape Culture Infiltrates The Music Industry" today, and early in the article, there's this curious sentence: "There are already unconfirmed reports that the Atlanta rapper and his label Epic will follow up this second release with a third album."

Just today, it was announced that FUTURE will be the No. 1 album in the country this week, and judging by Future's trajectory, it look like HNDRXX could go No. 1 the week after. Never in the 61-year history of the Billboard Top 200 chart has an artist ever hit No. 1 in consecutive weeks with different albums. If Future does it three weeks in a row, he'd be making history yet again.
