Future, known for his relentless stream of new music, seems to just be getting started in the new year, dropping his self-titled album today and teasing new, unrelated music in the process. Future is available to stream and download now, the 17 track album entirely featureless, but the Atlanta rapper has more in the clip as seen in the video “Night Vision Pt. 2″ posted to YouTube yesterday (Feb. 16) and included below.

The clip follows “Night Vision Pt. 1,” which was posted earlier this week. Similarly, it showcases new music, tunes that can not be found on the self-titled release. In the new clip, Future explains how “pluto” went from a saying to a nickname, Young Scooter responsible for the branding. “Pluto is like the shit that I’d say in my conversation,” Future says. “I’m always thinking crazy, far out.”

The rapper’s debut album was titled Pluto, and though he’s released a slew of projects since, the clip seems to suggest a possible return to the title. Towards the beginning of 2016, Future dropped two projects, Evol and Purple Reign, within three weeks off each other and a similar combination this year looks likely. Zaytoven said Beast Mode 16 was finished in September, and the “Night Vision” series, intentionally cryptic and dark, may very well lead into a quick turnaround for Future and the Freebandz gang.
