With G.O.O.D. Music's many moving parts and Kanye West's unpredictability, the fate of the collaborative Cruel Winter album seems to be forever uncertain. An official version of "Champions," what was believed to be the album's lead single, dropped in June, but little more has come out since. In a Reddit AMA yesterday (Feb. 9) however, CyHi The Prynce gave solid, albeit brief, confirmation that something is and has been in the works.

"Got any verses on Cruel Winter?" one fan asked, to which CyHi responded, "yep." Another participant asked if Cruel Winter was really coming, CyHi as well responding, "yep."

The G.O.O.D. collective released Cruel Summer in September of 2012, with lead singles "Mercy" and "Cold." CyHi appears on the album twice. In September of 2016, Travis Scott, who is featured on "Champions," said that the album will come around February 2017, or, the month that is upon us. “I’m executive producing the album. It’s coming very soon. I wanna say like the top of the next year,” Scott said. “I’m putting the press on everybody. I’m saying February.”

As for CyHi, he just dropped a new single, "Legend," yesterday, the first release off his forthcoming No Dope on Sunday album. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper will drop “Nu Africa” next and hit the road with Lil Wayne, opening for his upcoming college tour. Nine dates, starting in April, are confirmed thus far.
