Migos continue to make the press rounds in support of Culture, sitting down with Ebro and Beats 1 recently to talk about their hit records and recent ascension. At about the 5:50 mark, Ebro asks about their connection with Drake, who propelled the group's profile in 2013 when he jumped on "Versace." In the above clip, Quavo remembers watching a video of Drake and DJ Drama debating who was on the come-up more, Migos or Rich Homie Quan.

"Drama was trying to tell him that Rich Homie Quan is the new thing. In the video he’s like 'Nah man have you heard Migos though?'" Quavo recalls. "When I seen that, I knew he wanted to work with us but we never met him 'til we got to Birthday Bash. And ever since then, I sent him two or three records. He wanted to get on 'Pronto' or 'Versace' and I just sent him 'Versace.'"

Earlier on, the trio talks about the flows and cadences that they popularized, Quavo saying it's hard for him to find inspiration with so many rappers following their lead. "I’d rather other artists find they own self," he says. "I want to see what you do, find yourself. Maybe I can learn something from you that I can put in my music. I haven’t been a fan because we all sound the same."
