On Tuesday (Jan. 3), Lil Wayne announced he has three new projects in the works. Now, it seems he has yet another separate project, called Velvet, coming soon.

Young Money president Mack Maine recently spoke with REVOLT about what fans should expect from the label in 2017, including new albums from Weezy, Drake and Nicki Minaj.

“We wanna get that Carter V out. Wayne also has a dope project called Velvet. We want to get that out. Drake dropping top of the year. Nicki got some features that - I’ve been in the studio with her lately - that she’s just killing. She also gonna be working on her solo project and she’s dropping," Mack says.

Mack Maine also reveals that there's a compilation album on the way from Wayne, Gudda Gudda and HoodyBaby called L.A.T.

"We also have L.A.T. which is Wayne, Gudda and HoodyBaby," the YM president says. "They going bananas. Demeo dropping his mixtape top of the year, Kingpin...  We got some shit in the chamber for y’all man. We gonna be all over your radio, all over your TV screen. If you got any problems with us, you not gonna be able to avoid us.”

So it seems Tunechi is sitting on a ton of new music. As aforementioned, on Jan. 3, Weezy F. announced that he's planning to drop Carter V, Funeral, and Dedication 6 at some point in the near future. Now, according to Mack Maine, Wayne is also working on a compilation album as well as a project called Velvet.
