Logic has a new achievement to add to his resume. Today (Jan. 13), the Maryland rapper announced that his music has surpassed one billion streams.

"Damn, my music has been Streamed over a Billion times!" he wrote on Twitter. "1,000,000,000 #RattPack."

Logic did not specify if this was a total of all streaming services or a specific one. DJBooth did their own research and found that Logic has racked up 1.1 billion streams on Spotify, so the announcement is legit.

The news of Logic passing the billion streams mark comes just a few months after his debut album Under Pressure went gold. The Def Jam artist hopes to earn another gold plaque with his next album AfricAryaN. The LP's title has received some criticism, but Logic explained the concept during an interview with Dan Harmon.

“[It’s] about that cultural evolution and how you can go from the darkest of skin to the lightest of skin,” Logic told Harmon. “Or the Aryan brotherhood, if you will, who believe that they’re ‘pure of blood.’ When, at the end of the day, we all have that in our blood, and we all have so many different ethnicities in our blood, no matter how pure we think we are. At the end of the day, life should be about peace, love and positivity and about equality for all – every man, woman and child that walks the Earth. And that’s what I’m saying on this entire album.”

AfricAryaN is expected to drop later this year. The project may feature a guest appearance by Killer Mike since he and Logic were recently seen in the studio together.
