Does 2 Chainz have new music on the way with Justin Bieber? Yesterday (Jan. 2), Tityboi posted a photo with Bieber and captioned it, "New music on the way ??? Take JB to the trap ???"

It's been a while, but 2 Chainz and Bieber have collaborated in the past. The Atlanta rapper and the Canadian singer connected on "Boyfriend" (Remix) a few years back. Now, it looks like they're gearing up for another song together.

It's possible that their new track could appear on 2 Chainz's upcoming project, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. Details are scarce at the moment, but XXL will keep readers updated as more information emerges.

Both artists were hard at work in 2016. Tityboi dropped several mixtapes, including Felt Like Cappin,' Daniel Son; Necklace Don and Hibachi for Lunch. He also released the joint project Collegrove with Lil Wayne.

After putting out four mixtapes in 2016, 2 Chainz is gearing up for a potentially major 2017, as well. If his Instagram post is any indication, he's already headed in the right direction.

Meanwhile, the Biebs had plenty of ties to hip-hop in 2016, collaborating with Post Malone for the latter's Stoney album, covering Tupac Shakur's classic record "Thugz Mansion," and dropping a version of Drake's smash hit "One Dance."
