Wu-Tang Affiliate Solomon Childs in Stable Condition After Being Shot

Solomon Childs, a Wu-Tang Clan affiliate best known as part of Ghostface Killah's Theodore Unit, is in stable condition, SILive reports. Childs, real name Walbert Ryan Dale, was shot in the neck Saturday morning in Staten Island near 1418 Forest Ave.

Police are still looking for suspects, a radio transmission revealing that the gunmen fled in a 1997 green Nissan Maxima. "That's some crazy [stuff], man; right on Forest Avenue? That's cold," one male bystander said. "It's so close to the holidays; this is so awful. People are out food shopping, running errands and trying to get ready for the holidays and something like this happens - sad, sad, sad," a local woman added. A police spokesman said that the shooting is not being investigates as part of a robbery at this time, despite some wondering if it was in connection to a string of recent incidents.
