Travis Scott is incredibly protective of his fans. The rapper's rambunctious performances bring out a lot of energy from his fans, so Scott and security guards have not always seen eye to eye on what's allowed at a show. The latest example of that came when a security guard took a microphone away from a fan.

The security guard's decision provoked a strong response from Scott. The "Pick Up the Phone" artist went off on the man, putting a halt to the show to fire off some vicious insults.

"I will smack the fuck out of you nigga," Scott said in full Autotune. "Don't you ever take a motherfucking mic out of my fucking fans' hands, man. Motherfucking Tony, get this nigga out my face, man. Get this nigga out my face. No security touches a Travis Scott fan, bro. It's not how we rocking, bro. Take yo ass to the left. You fucking big earlobe, earring wearing, fat motherfucker."

Scott is wrapping up an incredible 2016 by covering XXL's winter issue. The Houston native landed on the cover thanks to the success of his Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight album, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. XXL's interview with Scott will not only look back at his impressive year, but also look forward to his next album Astroworld. That LP is scheduled to drop in 2017, so Scott's fans won't be waiting long to hear more music from him.
