Update (Dec. 20, 1:20 p.m. EST):

Game's motion for a new trial has been denied by a judge, as well as his request to pay a reduced amount of damages, all because Game didn't file the motion correctly, according to TMZ.

Original Story:

The Game is seeking a new trial after being ordered to pay $7 million to his accuser in a sexual assault case. The rapper claims the evidence does not support such a large sum of money and believes the jury was out to get him.

The Compton rapper says the jury was biased due to a "prejudicial" video of him and the woman after the alleged groping, according to TMZ. The Game also feels the proceedings were unfair because he was unable defend himself in person. The veteran MC missed the trial due to a severe tooth infection.

Priscilla Rainey accused The Game of sexually assaulting her in May 2015 when they were not filming for the rapper's reality show She’s Got Game. Rainey said she was led to believe that contestants had to go on an off-camera date with The Game. During their date, The Game allegedly put his hand up Rainey's dress to touch her genitalia.

Rainey filed a $10 million lawsuit against The Game in August 2015. The reality show contest sought the large sum of money for the "physical, psychological and emotional damages" she suffered.

Although an Illinois court ruled in Rainey's favor, The Game has denied the allegations since they were first made. The "All Eyez" artist claimed Rainey was a prostitute and that she had spent time in a mental institution. The Game's lawyers also filed paperwork to have the woman's sexual history examined in court.
