One of the brightest newest MCs in hip-hop right now are EarthGang. The duo made up of Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot have been gaining momentum since they released Strays With Rabies last year and hip-hop's best rappers have taken notice. EarthGang linked up with J. Cole and Bas for “Can’t Call It," Mac Miller (aka Larry Fisherman) for “Laundry Day” and now they link with Royce Da 5'9" for "The L's."

The lyricism on the new track is on point. Venus and Dot show up in a big way. "Apologies but you can get the fuck if you ain't diggin us/Let's dig a fish to gut/Around bout '96 I had to sort my shit/And so I used to sit and miss the bus," don't ever think all Atlanta artists can't spit with the best. Royce does what he usually does and ends the song with a very solid verse of his own.

EarthGang along with JB and J.I.D. released their much anticipated Spillage Village collective's new album Bears Like This To Much on Dec. 2. The 11-song LP features appearances from Quentin Miller and Jordxn Bryant.

Last month the ATL duo visited the YouTube Music Foundry and performed “Punchanella” and “A W O L.”
