Remy Ma and Papoose's relationship has been through much more than most people's, but apparently it glows as brightly now as it ever has. Today (Dec.17) marks the one-year anniversay of the day she and Pap remarried, and to commemorate it, Remy posted photo of the wedding ceremonies and a heartfelt message to her husband.

In the thoughtful post, the "All the Way Up" performer described the wedding as "the most beautiful day imaginable" and her husband Papoose as her "best friend," "lover" and "protector." Remy and Pap originally married back in March 2008, but because of Remy's jail sentence, the couple had to tie the knot while she was still behind bars. A year ago today, they finally had the idyllic wedding almost every couple wants, and on her anniversary, Remy is wearing her wedding dress all day.

Remy's post comes a little over a week after it was revealed that "All the Way Up"--a song featuring herself, Fat Joe, French Montana and Infrared--had been nominated for two Grammy Awards. XXL caught up with Remy to hear what she had to say about the two nominations.

“It was just so amazing. Just to see all your hard work and your determination and…we did the BET Awards, we won that, the Soul Train [Awards], and we won that. But you know, the AMAs, they didn’t nominate us,” Remy says. “So to actually get nominated by the Grammys, which is like, you know, it’s like the Oscars of music, is just like very humbling, and just, I can’t explain how I feel now…I’m smiling for no reason at all.”

Remy has a lot to be happy for today and going forward, and we wish her the best of luck at the Grammys in February.
